Founded by Cameron Ryan and Shane Hafner in October 2022, Bowl For Your Lives is a proactive mental health initiative born from personal experience.
Both former police officers, we have faced the challenges of PTSD firsthand throughout our careers. In the search for healing, we discovered the unexpectedly powerful benefits of lawn bowls.
What began as a recreational outlet quickly became a lifeline — helping us reconnect with community, rediscover calm, and rebuild resilience. Now, we're committed to sharing that opportunity with others.
Through fundraising events and community tournaments, we share our stories and advocate for the mental health benefits of this accessible, inclusive sport. We aim to:
